libunbound-dev software package provides static library, header files, and docs for libunbound, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libunbound-dev
libunbound-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libunbound-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libunbound-dev *
You will get with libunbound-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
